Portland, Oregon’s New York Rifles are: Scott Young (vocals, guitar), Kari Schafer (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Sean Moultrie (drums, backing vocals), Brent Williams (bass).
Their debut album, “Faraway Faster”, was released on Seattle, WA-based independent record label eMpTy Records. Check out this live performance of The New York Rifles' song off “Faraway Faster”, titled, "Wrong Tennis Shoes".


“Make A Wish” is New York Rifles second full-length, and first for the label In Music We Trust. New York Rifles are rock ‘n’ roll, with a punk heart beating ferociously. They play rock ‘n’ roll like it was played on the CBGB’s stage in its prime. Before the "Save CBGBs" campaign. Before it closed down and was torn apart into little souvenirs to be regurgitated by the Frat boy masses. And, well before it became just a club for bands to play on the same stage that their idols had played. “Make A Wish” embodies old classic-era CBGB's records: the spirit, the drive, the power, stamina, loud guitars, and punk-infused, sweaty rock ‘n’ roll.
