INSANE ASYLUM
aka
Insane Asylum
Check out this 1990 public service message titled "We Care About New York", concerning New York City's rat problem , directed by David Lynch in black and white. Cinematography by Frederick Elmes.
While you're at it, check out this rat of a tune by the Bass Kittens. Bass Kittens - "Rat Patrol"
I'm not sure what it is with religious
nuts and Xtians, but they do the
darndest things. Check out this seriously weird Xtian puppet show: The Junior Christian Science Bible Lesson Show.
Who edited this? You may ask yourself, "Is this really how it appeared?" Yes it seems too crazy.

Of course it would only be fitting to provide a proper soundtrack to fit the mood of the Xtian Alien Puppet show. Likewise I give you some Hoodoo Gurus, because this martian puppet could have definately used some guitars to spice these crazy songs up a bit.
"I'm a stoneage Romeo, be my spaceage Juliet
We'll take guitars to Mars, and hit the discoteque!"
I've gotta tell ya, there's nothing more sexy than a big, fat, tattooed, punk of a slob,
sleeping on the street, while his .40 oz lies quietly draining on the sidewalk, near what he so affectionately calls his bed. And yet somehow I was under the assumption that the insane asylum we call the great big city, never sleeps. I guess I was wrong. Sometimes the city does take a big ass nap, like the rest of us!

And this would be oh so bereft of it's proper charm had we not included a proper soundtrack for your auditory pleasure. What better than the Eurythmics stating just how alive the great big city truly is.
"You know there's so many people
Living in this house
And I don't even know their names"
So try not to get too stressed, cartoon kitties and cartoon doggies. Go get yer friends to give you a massage
or be a true friend and give a friend a massage, and smile all the way through the padded hallways!
